Dr. David McLaughlin

Director of Women's Specialty Health Centers, P.C.

In high school, Dr. McLaughlin became an Eagle Scout and graduated Valedictorian of his class. He then attended Indiana University, where he obtained his bachelor of science (B.S.) and medical degree (M.D.) in seven years, and served as medical school Class President. While completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Dayton, Ohio, he was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard and received an honorable discharge after serving as his MASH unit's Company Commander.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. McLaughlin's practice has focused on gynecology, with a special emphasis on infertility, reproductive surgery and menopausal treatments. His office at the Indiana Surgery Center serves as the home to Women's Specialty Health Centers.

Accredited with both OB-GYN and Laser Surgery board certifications, Dr. McLaughlin is a Fellow of the American College of OB-GYN and the American College of Surgeons. He has published two scientific textbooks, multiple scientific articles and has spoken at numerous national and international medical conferences. In the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, he is a Charter member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (offering a post-graduate Fellowship) and a member of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, where he serves as a consultant to other programs wishing to improve their success rates.

Married for 35 years, he has four children, with all of his family members contributing to the success of his practice. Dr. McLaughlin feels privileged to deliver compassionate gynecologic and fertility solutions to patients from around the world, and is thrilled to receive letters and pictures from the growing families he has helped complete.
