Failed IVF
If you have undergone a failed IVF cycle with embryo transfer, there may be an implantation abnormality, which can be detected and successfully treated. A recently published article indicated that endometrial polyps are present in 20% of women who fail two IVF cycles. Prior to undergoing your first IVF cycle, we utilize ultrasound to identify polyps, hysteroscopy to locate them, and endometrial biopsy to remove them. We often help you identify abnormal immune factors prior to your cycle, which could have a deleterious effect on your ability to conceive. Oftentimes, we find abnormal structural sperm DNA which adversely affects embryo development.
